What you can expect

About Eataly

Eataly is about eating Italian food and living the Italian way. Our goal is to demonstrate that high-quality Italian food and drink are at hand for everybody to enjoy.

The brand EATALY is the combination of two English words: EAT and ITALY. Eataly is about experiencing Italian food and the “italian” way of indulging at the table. Eataly is the result of Italians enjoying excellent Mediterranean cuisine  and wanting to share that with the world. Eataly displays Italy’s food and wine culture, history, the easy reproduction of many dishes of poor origin, along with many positive influences that Italian cuisine has gained from abroad over history (for example, with tomatoes and corn coming from America).

Eataly’s main goal is to demonstrate that high-quality products can be made available to everyone: good products are easy to find at affordable prices, but that is not all. Eataly wants to tell you about the face of the farmer, the production method and the stories of people and companies who make the best Italian high-quality food and wine.

Our tour guide was absolutely great in every way. I would recommend this tour for thousands of reasons, not the least was the extra time spent in the presence of da Vinci’s masterpiece. The guide’s knowledge of the Last Supper, da Vinci and the history of Milan is very extensive. Go!

This tour was absolutely incredible! We had half an hour alone to view the Last Supper and the guide explained all of the history of the artwork, the great detail of the symbolism, the suggestions of the painting and so much more. Finishing at Eataly was also an experience well worth it. The food was excellent, the building incredible and we were taken care of with the uttermost detail.
